Remember The Wedding Party? Biggest Nigerian movie of the year 2016? Well we’re expecting the sequel. Now when I first heard about this, I wasn’t very excited really. I felt it was unnecessary, and just another way to take my money. But then the trailer happened.
I dunno what they want to do in this wedding party 2,film don finish na

The trailer is absolutely HILARIOUS! You should see it. Our very own Mama Gee, area scatter extraordinaire, Patience Ozokwor is in it, and I can’t help the goosebumps when I think of all the havoc she is going to wreck on that family. A combination of Patience Ozokwor and Sola Shobowale – who by the way stole the show in the first part of the movie – is sure to have us doubled over with laughter. I low-key can’t wait for the sequel, and I can’t possibly be alone in this. Are you excited too? Or is it just me?
Although, I still feel like the makers of the movie are taking a very huge risk here. The Nigerian audience is unforgiving, and the sequel is a rather huge gamble because if it falls below expectation, which is outrageously high at the moment, they would have a furious audience to deal with. And I’d most probably lead the angry mob.
Saw the wedding party 2 movie trailer, and I’m like 😒. Hopefully, it comes out great.

All in all, I hope they don’t disappoint with this sequel. The stakes are high, and we are looking forward to what promises to be an amazing and hilarious movie.
