For someone like teni who is androgynous and comfortable in her own skin, I mean we all know she is a  ‘tomboy’ as carved her own path to success. She initially started by entertaining us with creating hilarious videos and covers of songs on Instagram. She got signed by Shizzi into Magic Fingers Records and later moved on and got signed to Dr. Dolor Entertainment.

Her first hit single ‘FARGIN’, which was initially a freestyle got a lot of views and immediately became a hit.  She followed up with a series of hit singles including the likes of Askamaya, Case, jersey and Pray featuring Phyno. In the space of a year, she won the headies award for ‘Rookie of the year’ at the 2018 edition and she is already becoming an A-list Artist in Nigeria and a household name. Be on the lookout for Teni next year because this is just the beginning.
