It’s a new year as you all know, and a new year, comes with a new vibe, and new resolutions.
Well here in the city of Lagos, we started our new year with an award show. The Sound City MVP awards 2019. which held on the 6th of January 2019 at Eko Hotel Convention Centre.
A lot of people flew into the country for the award show. I mean we had a lot of people come in from different countries to witness this big award festival.
Let’s go straight to the black carpet and the drama that comes with it.
Toni Tones – Toni definitely nailed it in her Lanre Da Silva Glow blaze collection. Looking at her outfit you would agree that she brought simplicity, elegance and youthfulness to the black carpet.
Dorcas Shola Fapson – She’s popularly known as Ms DSF, Dorcas really looked stunning in her Custom dress by Matopeda. This super woman came to serve some skin and she served it really well.
Dotun the energy gad- Dotun came with some positive vibes in his “Energy Gad Kimono”. We mean, it’s 2019, bad energy please stay far away.
Uti Nwachukwu: Show me a man who loves his country, culture and heritage like this man. Uti showed up in a green outfit with white stripes pairing with white sneakers. I mean how else do you want to represent your country? if not matching it’s national colours.
Princess Shyngle: The Popular Gambian actress Princess came with her waist snatched. Is those waist for real??! She showed up in an elegant Tiannah see through outfit, The Gambian Princess definitely didn’t come to play but to slay.
Pearl Cardy: We personally like how Pearl showed up in a Jane Micheal outfit. Her long puff sleeves, and a black and greyish looking jumpsuit, looking like someone who’s got wings to fly. Fly away angel !!
Moët- Now who doesn’t like a blonde lady? Moët Abebe showed up in a Marvee jumpsuit and a blonde hair. This radio goddess definitely knows how to get all the attention on the red carpet. If you would agree with us Moet nailed this look for sure!
Denola Grey -The fashion consultant can never do wrong when it comes to fashion. In his custom jacket with tassels for edge was just what we needed to see. Thank you Denola for serving us this look.
Niniola– The afro house music star showed up in a Black and white sequence jumpsuit and for a fact, she looked really good. With the glitters from her jumpsuit, can we say that Nini brought disco to the award show?
