Criticisms have continued to trail the incumbent administration, led by President Muhammadu Buhari over his policies and the decisions he has made towards finding solutions to the problem of Nigerians.
Just last week, the Federal Government announced the removal of fuel subsidy which has been an issue that has been deliberated on by the executive for years now. Currently fuel sells for N145 which the Nigerian Labour Congress NLC has threatened to embark on a nationwide strike by Wednesday 18th of May 2016 if the Federal Government does not revert the fuel price back to N87.
While Nigerians have voiced out the frustration over the increase in pump price and the hard-ship which they have faced since the increase, a prominent Nigerian, the leader of the Afenifere Group, Chief Ayo Adebanjo has lambasted President Muhammadu Buhari that he does not have a plan for Nigeria, that he (Buhari) was not prepared for the job, while speaking to National Mirror Newspaper
“Even if he has not achieved anything in one year, of course I don’t expect him to achieve much in one year, but where is the programme? In health, education, works, nothing has since been done; no roadmap for the change that can be used to measure you.
“These are the things that are dragging back the quality of the universities now. What I am expecting is that Buhari should have done his home work properly before coming to power,”
