According to Vanguard, Cameroonian soldiers was reported to have crossed the international border between Nigeria and Cameroon, invading the Danare community in Boki local government in Cross River State, in search of refugees from southern Cameroon who they claim must have been harbored by the Danare people. When did Nigeria’s boarders became this vulnerable?
Quoting Dauglas Ogar, the Cameroonian Soldier stormed the community in broad day light (2:00pm) shooting and Danare people had to run for their lives as the Soldiers; on a mission to clean Danare community of all Ambazonia refuges searched the community.
He further explained that the Ambazonia refugees was revealed to be a threat to the Cameroonian government and the Soldiers threatened to return to execute refugees taking asylum in the community.
