Tuface Idibia is unarguably one of the long standing and most consistent artistes in Nigeria. From his first hit track African queen released in 2004 to his latest single Gaga shuffle in 2017, do you have any reason to doubt his level of excellence in music?
Indeed, excellence is innate but you would also agree that it is relative to individual effort and productivity. For an act like Tuface who has become a legend in the Nigerian music industry, he is surely a force to reckon with in the nation. Notwithstanding his legendary status in music, can his influence transcend to political power for him?
You would recall last year how he called for a protest against the deplorable state of the nation but later called it off. One significant side to the call was the wide acceptance it received in few hours as many were ready to join the movement hoping it will send a message and bring the desired change. Latching on the wide support he got from a solidarity call, do you think Tuface might as well pull some weight if he ventures into a political career?
It might interest you to know that Veteran actor Desmond Elliot also ventured into politics in 2015 and won a senatorial seat representing Surulere in Lagos. Interestingly, Tufcae has also stated his interest to get actively involved in politics, although he has not stated what position he would be running for, in your opinion however, in what political capacity can he function well?
